Calling all Young Volleyball Athletes!

On Saturday, 15 May, Swing For Sydney Foundation will be hosting our volleyball fundraiser by offering volleyball open gyms instead of the volleyball scrimmage that we ran during the last 3 years. This will be open to girls and boys ages 7 to 18 yrs old. 

The open gyms are set to help introduce young athletes to the game, work with intermediate and advance skills. 

The session to be offered are:

9 to 11am-Introduction to volleyball. All basic skills. Ages 7 to 10 yrs old.

11am to 1pm-Intermediate Skills. Ages 11-14 yrs old.

12pm- to 2pm-All Basic Skills. Ages 7 to 10 yrs old.

2 to 4pm-Intermediate Skills. Ages 11-14 yrs old.

4 to 6pm-Open gyms 15 and older and game time. 

6 to 8pm-Open to all athletes for pickup games

The event will be used to help to bring people together and raise suicide and mental health awareness. 

Cost per person individual is $25.This will guarantee you training time, and some play time on the court as well. 

All proceeds will go to the Swing for Sydney Foundation and help:

-Support initiatives designed to increase awareness and enhance the response to suicide.

-Develop and distribute tools and resources to stop suicide.
