About the Poker Ride

  Take a leisurely ride through beautiful River Rise Preserve State Park, and play a hand or two of poker. Cash prizes for Top 3 Hands, Oldest Rider, Youngest Rider and Oldest Horse ridden!*

  Save $5 on your first Poker Hand! Pre-register online or by mail** before pre-registration closes on Thursday, December 5th at midnight. See below for mail-in form. 

  Items donated by local businesses will be awarded as drawing prizes. Tickets for the drawings will be available the day of the ride only for a suggested donation of $1 each.*** Light breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase as well.

  You can make a camping reservation with your online registration (available only with the purchase of a Poker Hand). Campsites will be assigned at the discretion of Ride Management.

  Sunday, December 8th is scheduled as a "Rain Date" in case of bad weather.

NOTICE:  Proof of current negative Coggins certificate required for each horse upon arrival. Florida law requires participants under the age of 16 years to wear a helmet while engaging in equestrian activities on public lands.
Under Florida law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.     Florida Statutes §773.01
