Join us at Jax Wood Fired Pizza for a hands-on sensory friendly pizza making workshop!

What does a "Sensory Friendly Pizza Workshop" look like? 
Jax Wood Fired Pizza will be closed to the public for this event, limiting the sensory input and output in the restaurant. There is sensory seeking opportunities through making pizza. Each table will be coated in flour & have its own bowl of sauce, cheese, & 3-4 toppings (pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, etc) 
When the individuals are finished building their pizzas they will look through our clear window & watch their pizzas into the oven - the kids will not enter the kitchen!
Parents will be able to order food items after the pizzas are in the oven. There will be a show on tv once the kids are done with making their pizza while they wait for it to be cooked. 

*All individuals & parents/caretakers must be comfortable with being captured on photo & video and possibly being seen on our social media

Workshop Schedule:
3:00 - 3:15 - Arrival, getting seated, pizza lesson 
3:15 - 4:00 - Building and making pizzas
4:00 - Parents can place orders for additional food
4:15 - 5:00 - Sit and enjoy food as a family!

All individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, failure to do so will result in being turned away at the event.
