Please mark your calendars and save the date for Advocates 18th Annual Charity Golf Tournament! Shotgun start is at 11:30am.

On Wednesday, September 20th, Advocates will host its annual golf tournament at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, NY. Timber Banks Golf Club is Central New York’s best kept secret and the perfect social setting for our golfers. Featuring a Jack Nicklaus Design course, Timber Banks offers 18 holes of breathtaking views, immaculate grounds, and a challenging layout. Proceeds from Advocates 18th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will benefit children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are in need of critical services and supports. Advocates Annual Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $1.8 million for people with disabilities. If you have participated in past tournaments, we want to sincerely thank you and if you plan to attend this year's tournament, we look forward to rekindling friendships as well as welcoming newcomers to our tournament. 

Golfers will be treated to 18 holes of golf, cart, electronic scoring, a variety of contests, lunch on the patio, beverages on the course, networking and cocktail reception, hostess gift, swag, auction that includes several safaris and numerous Carabbean trips, a sit-down gourmet dinner overlooking the breathtaking grounds, and live entertainment. All sponsorship packages include brand exposure, networking opportunities, acknowledgement in Advocates quarterly newsletter that is mailed to over 2,000 households, and tax benefits. 

For our golfers traveling outside the area, there are a block of rooms reserved at the Aloft Hotel located at 310 West Kirkpatrick Street in Syracuse. The hotel is close to numerous amenities including Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Destiny Mall.  Please call (888) 238-1985 to place your reservations. The Courtyard Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square, (315) 995-1958, located at 300 West Fayette Street and the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, (315) 474-2424, is located at 100 East Onondaga Street and is in close proximity of numerous amenities if you prefer to lodge at one of the Marriotts.

There will be a VIP dinner buffet scheduled the night before the event at Dinosaur BBQ.  Sponsors ($4,000 - $10,000) will enjoy bbq chicken, pork, ribs and delicious sides.
