🚂✨ All Aboard the Historic Railroad Tour! ✨🚂
Join your host and Railroad Tour guide Alice White as you step back in time and discover the fascinating history of the Seaboard Railway (Charlotte Harbor & Northern Railway Route) — once stretching from Arcadia through El Jobean to the iconic Boca Grande Lighthouse 🏝️. All from the comfort of a cool, air-conditioned mini bus 🚌❄️ as you trace the original path of the railroad tracks!
Note: due to popular demand, the tours for both October 18 & 25 have been sold out.

- We are starting at The Bean Depot Café & Museum, El Jobean (4370 Garden Rd, Port Charlotte) — a building on the National Register of Historic Places, once home to a train station, post office, and general store!
🚉 What You’ll See & Learn:
🔎 Evidence of former railroad sites that shaped the region’s history.
🏠 The locations of the McCall Train Station and 1905 Section House.
🛏️ The Placida Bunkhouse, standing strong today!
🚴 A stop along the Cape Haze Pioneer Bike Trail, once home to railroad tracks.
🌉 Crossing the Boca Grande Causeway with track remnants visible along the way. See where the Bridge Tender's House was located!
🛤️ A visit to the Boca Grande Train Station and on to the Boca Grande Lighthouse (built in 1896!).
⛪ Stops at the Amory Memorial Chapel and more!
