Join us for this 4-part course to learn all the ins and outs of stained glass to create your very own piece! This workshop is for 18+ due to the skills and practices that will be explored in each session. 

Classes will take place on: May 10, May 18, May 24 and June 7 from 6:00pm-9:00pm 

You only need to attend one session!

And here's what you can expect:
1. Pick 5-10 pieces of pre-cut glass
2. Formulate a design with a 8x8 ring
3. Use steel wool on the ring
4. Wrap glass with lead
5. Solder the front and back of the piece
6. Clean with soap and water
7. Clean again with Sprayway
8. Apply shine and cord to hang! 

About Angie:

Angie Proffitt is a stained glass artist that loves incorporating textures and colors of glass into her work.  She enjoys sharing her love of stained glass through her workshops.  Angie learned the art of stained glass in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Tulsa Stained Glass where she assisted in teaching beginners stained glass classes - Angie likes creating her own patterns primarily using copper foil and copper patina.  She has her own home studio where she loves to make propagation stations, plants, moon phases--utilizing crystals, sliced rocks, ammonite fossils, unique cups and tea boxes - Aside from stained glass, Angie is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She enjoys listening to live music, thrifting, coffee, sunshine, animals, dance classes, and spending time with family and friends.
