Get ready to kick off summer with one of Centerville’s favorite traditions. The 5th Annual BBQ & Brew Festival returns to the historic Centerville Square on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with a full day of incredible food, live music, cold drinks, and community fun from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

What to Expect

BBQ Competition
Teams will fire up their smokers and compete in a sanctioned contest featuring four main categories: chicken, pork ribs, pork butt, and beef brisket. In addition to the main event, teams can also participate in optional bonus categories including Mystery Meat, Best Side, and Best Dessert.

Competition Schedule

Friday, June 5: Cooks Meeting at 6:30 PM
Saturday Turn-In Times:12:30 PM – Mystery Meat (optional category, separately judged)
1:00 PM – Chicken
1:30 PM – Ribs
2:00 PM – Pork Butt
2:30 PM – Brisket
3:00 PM – People’s Choice Sampling Begins (this is also when voting opens for Best Side and Best Dessert)
4:30 PM – Awards Ceremony
After awards, teams are welcome to begin packing up, while the festival continues on the Square.

People’s Choice & Tasting
Purchase a tasting wristband and sample barbecue from competing teams during People’s Choice beginning at 3:00 PM, while supplies last. Cast your vote for your favorite flavors, sides, and desserts.

Brews & Beverages
Enjoy a variety of craft beers and refreshing beverages available throughout the day—perfectly paired with smoked barbecue.

Live Music & Entertainment
Live music and entertainment will take place throughout the entire day from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, creating a fun, laid-back festival atmosphere before, during, and after the competition.

Games & Family-Friendly Activities
In addition to the BBQ competition, enjoy games, activities, and entertainment for all ages happening all day on the Square.
