Join one of our scheduled public holiday lights trolley tours and celebrate the season with fellow guests aboard a vintage trolley. Enjoy festive music, holiday trivia, games, prizes, and a guided tour of the city's most spectacular seasonal lights and landmarks. Route highlights could include: Campus Martius, Cadillac Square & Cadillac Square Christmas Market, Beacon Park, Spirit of Detroit, and Detroit Zoo Wild Lights!

Early Tour: 4-9PM Event
- 4:00 PM: Check-in begins at Atwater in the Park
- 4:15 - 4:45 PM: Meet your guide, enjoy your complimentary snack, sign paperwork, and get ready to board.
- 5:00 PM: Trolley departs promptly.
- 5:00 - 9:00 PM: Enjoy your 4-hour holiday lights trolley tour with festive stops along the route.
- 9:00 PM: Trolley returns to the starting location.
Late Tour: 5-10PM Event
- 5:00 PM: Check-in begins at Atwater in the Park
- 5:15 - 5:45 PM: Meet your guide, enjoy your complimentary snack, sign paperwork, and get ready to board.
- 6:00 PM: Trolley departs promptly.
- 6:00- 10:00 PM: Enjoy your 4-hour holiday lights trolley tour with festive stops along the route.
- 10:00 PM: Trolley returns to the starting location.

How to Book
To reserve the entire trolley, visit the ticketing calendar, select a date and time, find a trolley that has all tickets remaining that the trolley can accommodate. Select all of those tickets (Trolley 1 - 32, Trolley 2 - 28) and the buyout discount will automatically be applied at checkout.

Custom tours can often be scheduled on dates when public tours are not operating, subject to vehicle availability.
Pricing
Private Custom Tours start at $2,500 per trolley (accommodations for up to 32 guests). Final pricing is based on date, pickup location, route and customization requests.

Please Note: Cost of admission to the Zoo is not included. If the zoo is open to the public on the date you select, we can include a stop at the zoo but there will be an additional cost
How to Book
To reserve your Private Custom Tour, visit the ticketing calendar and find a date with a "Custom BYOB Holiday Lights Trolley -Deposit" available, and select 1 ticket. This secures your date and includes a $500 non-refundable deposit toward your event.

After your reservation is received, our team will contact you to:
- Confirm your Private Custom Trolley booking

- Adjust your preferred start time if needed
- The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your event date.

Step aboard Detroit’s most festive holiday experience: our signature BYOB Holiday Lights Trolley Tour.
Kick off your evening at Atwater in the Park in Grosse Pointe Park, where you’ll check in, meet your lively tour guide, and enjoy a complimentary snack before boarding. From there, the holiday adventure begins.
Bring your favorite beverages and settle in for a spirited ride through Detroit’s brightest seasonal scenes. With holiday music, trivia, games, prizes, and plenty of cheer, this isn’t just sightseeing — it’s a moving holiday party.
As we make our way downtown, routes may feature highlights like Campus Martius, the Cadillac Square Christmas Market, Beacon Park, the Spirit of Detroit, and more twinkling city sights. The highlight of the night is a visit to Detroit Zoo Wild Lights, where millions of LED lights and glowing animal sculptures create one of the area’s most memorable holiday displays. Zoo admission is included with your trolley ticket.
Every tour is a little different, but the magic is always the same: sparkling lights, great company, and a one-of-a-kind way to experience Detroit during the holidays. We’ll return to Atwater in the Park with spirits high and plenty to talk about.

Event is 21+. All attendees must present a valid government-issued ID at check-in. All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Tickets are valid only for the date and time purchased. No refunds, credits, or reschedules will be issued for missed events, late arrivals, illness, personal conflicts, or weather conditions. This event takes place rain, shine, or snow. No refunds will be issued due to weather. Ticket insurance may be available at checkout and is strongly recommended for those concerned about unforeseen circumstances. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. Ticket transfer requests (to change your date/time) may be submitted for a limited time and are subject to availability. After 10/1/26, all tickets are final and no transfer requests will be accepted.Trolleys depart promptly at the scheduled time. Guests who arrive late or miss departure will not be accommodated or refunded. This is a BYOB experience (21+). Guests are responsible for their own beverages and conduct. Holiday Lights Trolley reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest for unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior without refund. Seating is not guaranteed together unless tickets are purchased under the same reservation. Vehicle accommodations, routes, and sightseeing stops are subject to change at any time due to weather, traffic, venue availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. Holiday Lights Trolley reserves the right to modify vehicles and itineraries as needed. Trolley routes are set in advance. We are unable to accommodate custom stop requests.
