Balloons Over Wadsworth, an eagerly anticipated event held at the Wadsworth Municipal Airport, promises an unforgettable family-oriented experience on Saturday, August 9th. An exciting lineup of activities and entertainment awaits, designed to amuse and captivate visitors of all ages.
- Watch in awe as 24-28 colorful hot air balloons inflate and launch around 6:00 p.m. and "Night Glow" at 9:00 pm (weather permitting)

Hot Air Ohio Balloon Ride for 2
Each ticket purchased is one entry for a chance to win a balloon ride for two. The maximum weight is 450 lbs, which is the total weight for two people. The ride will be 45 min to 1 hour from the time we leave the ground until the time we touch back down. Total experience will be approximately 3 hours from the time we meet, set up, fly, land, pack up, champagne toast, and drive back. The winner must contact Hot Air Ohio to schedule the ride, and all scheduling is weather-dependent.
Last Gasp Balloon Ride for 1
Each ticket purchased is one entry for a chance to win a balloon ride for two. The maximum weight is 200 lbs., which is the total weight for one passenger. The ride will be 45 min to 1 hour from the time we leave the ground until the time we touch back down. Total experience will be approximately 3 hours from the time we meet, set up, fly, land, pack up, champagne toast, and drive back. The winner must contact Shannon Rote, pilot of Last Gasp to schedule the ride, and all scheduling is weather-dependent.
