Event Description
Celebrate your Bayshore finish at the Official Bayshore Marathon After Party at Short’s Pull Barn.
Runners, volunteers, family, and friends are invited to gather after the race for a relaxed afternoon with live music, great food, and cold Short’s beer. Live music will kick off at 1:00 PM and run through the afternoon.
Participants can enjoy $4 draft beers by showing their finisher medal, and volunteers can receive the same special by showing their event volunteer shirt.
Food trucks will be onsite throughout the afternoon including Osorio Tacos y Salsas and Flannigan’s Goat BBQ, with food available for purchase.
The Pull Barn is the perfect place to celebrate your race, reconnect with friends, and enjoy the Bayshore weekend atmosphere.

Parking is available at nearby street parking at no charge. We do recommend car pooling.
Yes! There are plenty of non-achohlic options at the Pull Barn. Everyone is invited.
The Pull Barn has both indoor and outdoor space. Most of the after-party will take place in the outdoor beer garden area, with additional seating and bar service available inside.
Live music begins at 1pm, but we will be here until 9pm :)
Yes, but only when it’s nice out! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed outside at the Pull Barn—please leave the yippers and nippers at home. We ask that pet parents please clean up after and maintain positive control over their pups at all times. We’ve got treats and fresh water.
The after-party is free to attend and open to runners, volunteers, and spectators. While there is no cost, we encourage everyone to reserve a free ticket in advance so we can better plan for space, food trucks, and staffing. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.

Yes. Runners can show their finisher medal to receive $4 draft beers at the Pull Barn. Volunteers may also receive the same offer by showing their volunteer shirt.
The Pull Barn in Elk Rapids is about a 20-25 minute drive from the Bayshore finish area in Traverse City, depending on traffic. The route follows US-31 along the east side of Grand Traverse Bay, the same beautiful stretch of East Bay that runners see along much of the race course.
Fun fact: If you could take a boat straight across the bay from the full marathon turnaround, it would only be about 10–12 miles across the water. The turnaround point sits nearly straight across East Bay from the after-party at the Short's Brewing Company Pull Barn. Unfortunately, there is no official Bayshore boat.
