Event Description
The third annual BOO & BREW Halloween event is happening on Sunday, October 26, 2025! The event takes place in downtown New Roads, Louisiana, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Expect a variety of activities, including live music, shopping, and many Halloween-themed activities for children. Guests can also explore the charming Historic Downtown New Roads, enjoy specialty beers, purchase food from local chefs and restaurants, and take part in trick-or-treating along the backdrop of False River.
More than 20 local businesses and organizations will host Trick-or-Treat stations, beginning at City Hall and culminating at the Courthouse. The event will also feature a wide range of fun activities suitable for all ages, such as:
- Face painting
- Balloon artist
- Caricature artist
- Yard games
- Pumpkin decorating
- Costume contest
- Live music performances
*Tickets grant access to the festival and all activities. All guests also receive a trick-or-treat bag or event koozie upon entrance. Please note that beer and food are sold separately.

Our annual event features local craft beer, live music, food tastings, a costume contest, trick-or-treating, and activities for kids! Boo & Brew is the perfect family friendly event to add to your calendar! This year’s event takes place on Sunday, October 26 from 3:00-6:00pm.
Why support us? Proceeds from Boo & Brew benefit our New Roads Main Street Program. The program supports local business on Main Street by assisting with funding for building preservation and restoration. Boo & Brew, along with Wine Down on False River and the New Roads Car Show, have funded thousands of dollars in grants for our downtown business that have applied.
