Training Description
Thanks for your interest in our Frederick 5K/ 10K Program. Coach Emma will get you running and walking up to the 10K distance while helping you stretch and strengthen safely and effectively.
You will meet twice a week for supported group runs and walks with your fellow runners and coach — once for a speed workout and once for distance in addition to following a weekly training plan. Weekly emails will outline your training plans for the days you don’t meet and allow you to follow along on your own for a virtual experience if you wish.
No running experience is necessary! Runners, walkers, and run/walkers of all levels are welcome!

Each registration will receive a $20 gift card to Charm City Run. Coach Emma will have gift cards the first week of training.
This training is geared towards walking or running Rick's Run 5 miler on Sunday, October 12th and Friends 10K - 5K and Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, November 2nd in Thurmont, MD but anyone can join even if you don't have plans to race or are participating in another race in the same timeframe.
