Training Description
Do you have a goal of running a half marathon? Our half marathon training program will prepare you to race your best - whether it's your first or 50th half. Along the way you'll learn about increasing your mileage, tempo runs, track workouts, hill workouts, recovery runs, nutrition, hydration, injury prevention, and much more. Each group will meet twice a week and receive weekly training plans your expert coach.
Middle Distance Prep (Holiday Edition): This 6 week middle distance prep program will incorporate running along with strength training to keep you fit throughout the holiday season. Prep will also prepare you for half marathon training that will begin the second week of January 2026.
12 Week Session (Winter/ Spring 2026): The 12 week session starts Saturday 1/11/26 and will last through 4/4/26.
18 Week Session (Winter/ Spring 2026): The 18 week session starts Saturday 1/11/26 and will last through 5/16/26. The 18 week session covers the following races: Sole of the City 10K, St. Michael's Half Marathon
12 Week Session (Summer/ Fall 2026): The 12 week session starts on Saturday 6/13/26 and prepares runners for the Charles Street 12-miler
18 Week Session (Summer/ Fall 2026): The 18 week session starts Saturday 6/13/26 and will last through 10/17/26. The 18 week session covers the following races: Susquehanna Half Marathon, Baltimore Running Festival Half Marathon. If interested in joining the 18 week session late, let Coach Dawn know and she will assist with payment.

Each registration will receive a $20 gift card to Charm City Run. Coaches will have gift cards the first week of training.
