Hi Chili Champions!

We’re so excited for our first Chili Cook-Off happening this Sunday, February 22nd! Below are some important reminders and details to help the day run smoothly.

🕛 Arrival & Setup

• Please arrive at 12:00 PM

• Be fully set up by 12:45 PM

• Tasting officially begins at 1:00 PM

🌶️ How Much Chili to Bring

• Please prepare enough chili to fill a large crockpot

• You’re welcome (and encouraged!) to bring extra chili for refills

• Extra chili can be stored in our walk-in refrigerator

🧀 What You’re Responsible for Bringing

• Your chili in a crock pot

• Extra chili for refills

• Any sides or toppings you'd like to serve with your chili (sour cream, cheese, crackers, cornbread, etc.)

• A ladle or serving spoon (you won't be serving your own chili. It will be self-serve for tasters)

🔌 What We Will Provide

• Extension cords & power

• Tables

• Tasting bowls, spoons, napkins, etc.

There will be Colorado Tap House staff members (not bartenders) available throughout the event to assist you with anything you need.

🎟 Participant Perks

As a chili entrant, you’ll receive:

• A tasting pass to try everyone else’s chili

• One drink

• One vote (who you vote for is totally up to you — yes, you can vote for yourself 😉)

The upper bar will be open during the event.

Encourage your friends and family to pre-purchase their tasting passes — they’re $2 cheaper when bought in advance versus at the door!

🏆 Judging & Prizes

We will have 3 official industry judges tasting and selecting our winners, and guest votes will determine our People’s Choice winners.

(Judging begins at 2:00 PM)

• 1st Place (each division): $125 cash

• 2nd Place (each division): $50 CTH gift card

🗳 PEOPLE'S CHOICE PRIZES

(Selected based on event voting)

• 1st Place (each division): $75 CTH gift card

  • PLUS a spot on our coveted Colorado Tap House Wall of Champions Plaque

• 2nd Place (each division): $50 CTH gift card

Winners will be announced at 4:00 PM.
