A Very Merry Weekend in Calvert awaits!

Come stay with us in one of our historic Bed and Breakfasts, Airbnb's, or hotels in and around Calvert on Friday, December 5th and enjoy a weekend of celebration, merriment, and shopping.

Start with a free event, the Christmas Tree Lighting and Festival Friday evening, December 5th @ 5 PM located at our beloved Virginia Field Park Pavilion in Historic Cavert. Then be up and ready Saturday morning for the Calvert Tour of Historic Homes & Churches.

'Calvert Tour of Historic Homes & Churches'  tickets are $35.00 per person.   

Check in begins @ 8:30 AM at Calvert City Hall & Museum at 620 South Main street.

Ticket holders will be guided through a total of 10 beautiful Victorian homes and churches in small town Texas, all decorated for the holiday season.

9:00 am - 12:30 pm:    Designated homes and churches  #1-#5

12:30 pm - 2:00 pm:    Enjoy lunch and shopping on Calvert's Main Street from 12:30 to 2:00 

2:00 pm - 5:30 pm:      Designated homes and churches #6-#10

Saturday night visit one of our local restaurants, winery, saloons, or full bar.  Stay a second night and enjoy some Christmas shopping at Calvert's unique antique and gift shops on Sunday!  

~ The 'Christmas Tree Lighting and Festival' transforms Virgina Field Park into a winter wonderland ~

Stroll through the thousands of lights while enjoying live music, visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as caroling and the traditional lighting of the Christmas Tree under the 100 year old pavilion. There will be activities for the whole family with food vendors to keep the festival goers full of energy. This event is FREE!
