Event Description
Join us at the Delaware Botanic Gardens for a hands-on workshop dedicated to the craft of hand-poured candles. Under the expert guidance of instructor Michael Schaber, PhD, participants will learn the science and art behind the candle-making process. You will design and create two custom container candles using sustainable, all-natural soy-coconut wax, customized with 2 premium fragrances and a variety of color options. All materials are provided. Ages 21+. Admission to the gardens is included in the ticket price.
Michael Schaber, PhD: After a 40-year career as a pharmaceutical scientist, Dr. Schaber founded Dr. Schaber’s Skin Essentials during the COVID-19 pandemic. His second career focuses on providing affordable, all-natural alternatives to mass-produced luxury skincare.
