Event Description
Join the Longwood Historic Society for a magical evening at Carols & Cocoa, Presented by AC Cowboys! This exclusive, ticketed event offers a rare opportunity to step inside some of Longwood's most beautiful historic buildings, decked out in their holiday finest. Starting at 4:00 PM, you and your small tour group will be led on a delightful walking tour through six architectural treasures, getting an intimate look at the history and charm that define our city. This is a perfect way to kick off the holiday season while supporting local preservation efforts.
Following your guided tour, your ticket grants you access to a festive, warm reception at the Longwood Historic Civic Center (135 W Church Ave). From 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, you can warm up with hot cocoa (sponsored by the Rotary Club) and hot apple cider (sponsored by Cottage Gift Shop), paired with light snacks and desserts. Please note that this portion of the event is strictly limited to 150 people across five tour groups to ensure a quality experience. Check-in begins promptly at 3:45 PM at the Civic Center.
Your experience doesn't end there! At 5:30 PM, we invite all guests to join the community on Ronald Reagan Blvd (between Warren and Church Ave) for our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. This inspiring event, featuring a Christmas Blessing and Unity Prayer by Pastor Tarman of Sanlando United Methodist, is free and open to the public—no ticket required. Stay and sing popular holiday carols as we officially usher in the spirit of Christmas!
