Dust off your boots and grab your partner (or come solo!) for a toe-tappin’, heel-stompin’ good time as Country Kickup brings their high-energy line dancing lessons to town! Whether you're a total newbie or already know your grapevine from your cowboy boogie, this is your chance to learn fun, easy-to-follow moves to your favorite country hits.
- No experience? No problem!
- All ages and skill levels welcome!
- Come for the dancing, stay for the festivities!
Country Kickup is hosting a Line Dance Lesson at the Weld Your Mettle running festival on Saturday, May 24!
- Line Dance Lesson = 6:30-7:30 PM
- Open Party / Social Dancing = 7:30-8:30 PM
Join us for a night of country music, community, and moves that'll have you kicking up dust in no time!

Country music, good vibes, and line dancing fun!
Everyone is welcome to join us at the Dance Class & Social Dancing even if you're not participating in the Weld Your Mettle running festival . Please join us for an evening of dancing and country music!
This is a separate event hosted during the WYM festival, but anyone (runner and non-runners) are welcome to join us for dancing!
The Weld Your Mettle running festival includes 7k (4.3 mile run, walk or ruck) and up to 48 hour timed running events.

Dance floor will be near the start/finish line, so all runners on course can enjoy the show and dancing.
All runners can participate for free. All spectators / non-runners will have an entry fee of $5.
Dance Lesson & Open Dancing is entertainment as part of the WYM race. It is open to the public and we invite all ages and skill levels to join us to learn how to dance!

What started as a few swing dancing events focused on raising money for a missions trip to a girl’s rescue center in Kenya, Africa soon turned into two, and then CKU Director realized there was a huge opportunity to make a difference in the local community!
And so, CKU was born to pour into people, teaching them how to dance and establish confidence; as well as giving the proceeds to charity.
