We are pleased to announce the inaugural Mission Mile at the Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run, an inspirational corridor on the racecourse that will display personalized dedication signs and customized shared banners that will pay tribute to family and friends who have fought, are facing, or have survived a cancer diagnosis. Signs and messages on the Mission Mile will support the American Cancer Society's mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Events
Please visit the American Cancer Society and Team DetermiNation booth at the Health & Wellness Expo, where runners will be able to sign a shared banner indicating who they are running for.
Funds raised via the Mission Mile will support ACS programs and services to help cancer patients and their caregivers during and after cancer treatment. These include, but are not limited to, free rides to treatment, overnight stays for cancer patients and a caregiver at our network of Hope Lodge facilities, cancer research, education and screening initiatives, and a 24/7 staffed cancer information helpline.
