Event Description
Are you interested in learning about carnivorous plants (bug-eating plants)? Have you ever tried to grow Venus Flytraps? Learn how to grow and plant your own bog pots or bog garden for your backyard. Join David Crosby who has been involved in growing many varieties of carnivorous plants for over 6 years, including setting up a backyard bog garden using rainwater from his home’s roof to keep the bog garden moist. Many of his plants are native to North America, with some native to our Mid-Atlantic states.
Here at Delaware Botanical Gardens, we have some examples of carnivorous and bog plant pots. Please join us for a talk on bug-eating plants!
