Authentic Oktoberfest Celebration

Been to an Oktoberfest already this year? Now come to an authentic one!

Join Edelweiss Lodge No. 31 for an afternoon of German-Austrian-Tyrolean music, Schuhplattler dancing, games and German-style lager at Martin-Bishop (Fireman's) Field, 111 Long Hill Road, Guilford, CT.

Saturday, October 10, 2026 · 12:00–7:00 PM

Schedule

  • 12–2 PM: Strolling accordionist Richard Cartier
  • 2–7 PM: Live music from The Austrian Boys
  • All day: Schuhplattler dancing by H.S.V. Bavaria, who have performed at the Oktoberfest in Munich
  • All day: Games and contests with prizes: Maßkrugstemmen (stein holding), Nageln (hammer striking), best authentic Dirndl or Lederhosen, and Oktoberfest trivia
  • All day: German-style lager from East Rock Brewing Company

Admission

  • Adults 21+: $20 in advance (includes one FREE beverage); $20 at the gate (no free beverage)
  • Ages 15–20: $5
  • Under 15: FREE (please add a free ticket for each child so we have a headcount)

Beverages are served to guests 21+ with a valid photo ID. Cards accepted. No pets. No outside alcohol. Weather updates on our Facebook page.
