Event Description
About Empty Bowls
Empty Bowls is a global movement dedicated to ending hunger. It began in 1990 when a Michigan art teacher and his students created ceramic bowls for a simple fundraising meal — soup and bread — to support a local food bank. Guests took home their bowls as a reminder of those facing food insecurity. Today, Empty Bowls events take place around the world, raising millions to support hunger relief organizations. Join us in continuing this powerful tradition right here in our community.
