Through their tireless dedication, they have exemplified the ideals that guide our organization, leaving an indelible mark on its progress. The Springbrook Founders Award celebrates the people whose legacy is intertwined with the very essence of Springbrook’s cause.
2025 Founders Award Recipient - Dr. Gerald Pondolfino
The Springbrook Foundation is proud to present the 2025 Founders Award to Dr. Gerald “Jerry” Pondolfino. We present this award to Jerry in recognition of his extraordinary commitment to Springbrook’s mission, which began with his role as a parent seeking the highest quality care and opportunities for his sons, Zachary and Scott. His personal connection to Springbrook inspired him to dedicate his time, resources, and leadership to ensure that all people supported by Springbrook can reach their fullest potential in a caring and nurturing environment.
Thanks to his commitment and vision, Jerry has played a vital role in advancing some of Springbrook’s most significant initiatives, including the $22.5 million Coming Home Campaign, which transformed The School at Springbrook and brought the Tom Golisano Center for Autism from dream to reality. He was also instrumental in the construction of the Family Engagement Center, where the Pondolfino Family Wing now stands as a lasting testament to his generosity and dedication. His perspective as both a father and a long-serving member of the Board of Directors has been invaluable in shaping Springbrook’s future, balancing growth with an unwavering focus on excellence in care.
