Event Description
🎶 Heart & Soul Revival: 70 Years of Music & Miracles 🎶
A Celebration of Sound, Survival, and the Gift of Life
Join the Florida Organ Transplant Association (FOTA) for the 2nd Annual Heart & Soul: 70 Years of Music & Miracles, an unforgettable afternoon where music and mission come together to celebrate the extraordinary gift of life.
Held on Saturday, September 26, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at the beautiful Susan B. Katz Theater of Performing Arts at the River of Grass ArtsPark in Pembroke Pines, Heart & Soul honors two remarkable legacies: more than seven decades of iconic music and 72 years of life-saving organ transplantation. Through live performances, inspiring stories, and moments of reflection, the event celebrates the resilience of transplant recipients, the generosity of living donors and donor families, and the healthcare professionals whose dedication makes second chances possible.
More than a concert, Heart & Soul is a celebration of hope, gratitude, and community. Audiences will enjoy an afternoon of exceptional entertainment spanning the soundtrack of the past seven decades while learning how organ, eye, and tissue donation continues to transform lives every day.
Whether you have been personally touched by transplantation, are passionate about supporting FOTA's mission, or simply love great live music, Heart & Soul offers an inspiring experience that reminds us of the incredible impact one gift, and one life, can have on so many others.
🎤 Concert Highlights Include:
- Live music celebrating the soundtrack of the past seven decades
- Featured performances by South Florida's premier entertainers
- Interactive booths, silent auction, and concessions
- An uplifting afternoon bringing together music, community, and the gift of life
💚 Hosted by the Florida Organ Transplant Association (FOTA), Heart & Soul reflects our longstanding commitment to bringing the transplant community together—from our annual April Run/Walk at Zoo Miami to our beloved Holiday Celebration, the largest gathering of transplant families in South Florida.
Proceeds from Heart & Soul support FOTA's mission to provide education, financial assistance, and community programs for transplant recipients, caregivers, living donors, and donor families, while advancing public awareness of organ donation and ultimately funding transplant research. Our vision is to serve as the central hub of resources, support, and fellowship for South Florida's transplant community.
🎶 Whether you're here to groove, give thanks, or get inspired, this is a concert that speaks to the heart — and celebrates the soul of survival.
