Event Description
Faith House is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safety, support, and hope for survivors of domestic violence and their children throughout Acadiana. Through a comprehensive network of services, Faith House empowers families to rebuild their lives free from violence and fear. Our programs include emergency shelter, non-residential advocacy services, transitional housing, permanent housing support, a 24-hour crisis hotline, community education and prevention programs, and the Family Justice Center of Acadiana.
Domestic violence continues to impact our communities at alarming rates. Faith House provides safe shelter and essential resources to help survivors regain stability, independence, and healing. While our Lafayette shelter offers compassionate care and critical support, the growing need for services exceeds current capacity, forcing us to turn away nearly 700 women each year due to lack of space.
Faith House operates through the generous support of community donations, fundraising efforts, government assistance, and grant funding. Together, we can continue providing life-saving services and creating hope for survivors and their children.
Since its launch in 2022 by Mary Neiheisel and Tracy Frentz, Faith House Night of Hope has become a signature community event and a vital fundraiser supporting survivors of domestic violence and their children throughout Acadiana.
The next Night of Hope will take place on October 23, 2026, and promises an unforgettable evening of celebration, compassion, and impact. Guests will enjoy live music and dancing with the On Call Band, a delicious buffet, exciting live auction packages, a popular Spirits Pull, networking and an atmosphere filled with fun and purpose.
Every sponsorship and donation directly supports the life-saving services provided by Faith House including emergency shelter, advocacy, housing assistance, crisis intervention, and support for families rebuilding their lives after abuse. We are incredibly grateful to the generous sponsors and supporters who have helped make Night of Hope a success over the past four years. Your partnership has made a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors, and we look forward to continuing this important work together.
