There are few things that can leave you feeling better than a celebration. The only thing better than a celebration is giving with a purpose. We had the opportunity to combine TWO celebrations and giving with a purpose to create the ultimate event of 2025!

Celebration #1: FREEDOM

The Harley Davidson brand is synonymous with freedom. Wisconsin Harley-Davidson and From Oconomowoc 2 You podcast have come together to help celebrate Freedom as an enduring way of life embraced uniquely by Americans as the keepers of the world's greatest experiment of self governance. From freedom to fail to freedom to fulfill your individual purpose and everything in-between. Celebrate your freedom while you enjoy yourself surrounded with others who have gathered for the Freedom 150.

Celebration #2: CITY OF OCONOMOWOC 150th ANNIVERSARY

The city of Oconomowoc is known around the world for its amazing setting between two beautiful lakes, surrounded by scenic landscape, and full of amazing and grateful people. Celebrating this community and its rich history and bright future will be a highlight of the day. Special gifts and take aways will be provided to make sure your memories of the day bring you back to experience the city's charm and explore the various businesses, bars, and restaurants!

 Giving with a Purpose: THE US PARALYMPIC WHEELCHAIR CURLING TEAM

Each member of the U.S. Wheelchair Curling team has a unique and motivating story. Adversity, grit, determination, and the purpose to fulfill their hard work and represent their country on the world stage at the Paralympic Winter games is the story everyone on the team shares. It is a challenge for any team to raise the money to provide the opportunity to develop their skills to the level required to medal. Add in the challenges of transporting a competitive wheelchair, finding another team to develop your skills and being away from home and the support system that waits for you to return. Raising money to help the team with ice time, travel arrangements, and additional resources required to fulfill their commitment to their sport, their team and their country is where the proceeds from this event will be invested. 

Registration fees will go to cover the cost of the event and donations gathered by each rider along with sponsor donations will go to the team. A special connection to this event is with our local team member, Laura Dwyer. Her story along with each team member will be shared with participants and the world. Each stop on the 5 stop Freedom 150 will feature information about a member of the team, a uniquely created challenge coin, and more. At the end of the ride participants will enjoy food from Steeltank Brewery and live music at Rally Point featuring Ed Goff opening for the Myles Wangerin Band!
