National Library Week (April 19-25) is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. As the impact of the COVID-19 crisis continues to evolve and change the work of libraries and library workers, our Johnson Public Library is proving resourceful and resilient, serving as a rich pipeline for content, delivering access to ebooks, movies, music, video games, virtual storytimes and activities, and so much more.
This FREE virtual event is being promoted by the Friends of the Johnson Public Library to bring the community together and show support for the Library in these difficult times. You can enter as many challenges as many times as you wish, and all entrants will be eligible to participate in a drawing for one of three Library branded tote bags. The tote bags are on order and should be available sometime in May. They are a good-quality canvas bag, with a pocket in the front, thick shoulder straps, and a zip-up top, which we will be selling for $15.00.
Here are the links that will help you meet the challenge you are choosing! (They will also appear in the confirmation email you will receive.)
