About the Tour...
This beloved community event returns this July, offering you the chance to explore eight all-new destinations, each showcasing the rich heritage and natural beauty of our region. From lovingly tended private gardens to architecturally significant historic buildings, each stop on this self-guided tour tells a unique story of our local history and horticultural traditions.
Whether you're seeking inspiration for your own garden, a chance to explore local historical architecture, or simply a delightful day out, this tour offers something special for everyone. Your participation directly supports Ontario County Historical Society's mission to preserve and share Ontario County's heritage for future generations.

Ticketing options are as follows...
- General Admission Garden Tour Ticket:
- $30 per person
- One official Tour booklet per ticket.
- Patron Sponsor Garden Tour Ticket:
- $50 per person
- One official Tour booklet per ticket
- Special recognition at a Tour destination
- Your name will be included in the official Tour booklet
- Tintype Portrait Session (ADD-ON TICKET):
- Brought to you by OCHS and Willie Osterman
- Portrait sessions may be added to your ticket purchase prior to checkout OR purchased separately in our Garden Month Store
- After purchase, OCHS will contact you to confirm times and other details for your portrait reservation
Be a part of this year's Garden & Historic Building Tour on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tour booklets, which also serve as your event ticket, will include photos, descriptions, and locations for each destination on the Tour.
Booklets will be available for pickup during normal business hours at the Ontario County Historical Society July 8-11 and on July 12 between 9:30-1:00 p.m.

Celebrate Garden Week with OCHS and Canandaigua Botanical Society on Tuesday, July 8! This free program will feature the importance of incorporating native plants into our gardens.

Garden Tour guests may refresh their own gardens with a special shopping day at Mayflowers Nursery & Garden Center on Saturday, July 19!
