Gaston College students rely on the passionate commitment of the community to provide funding for scholarships that help our programs grow. The Gaston College Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, will be hosting two community events to raise funding to further assist students with overcoming financial barriers that prevent them from obtaining an education. Sponsorships for the Stampede for Student Success 5K / 2K and the Gaston College Rhino Classic can be purchased individually or through a combination for both events.

Stampede for Student Success 5K/2K
The Stampede for Student Success 5K Run/2K Walk, invites community participants to follow a course through the College’s beautiful 150-acre Dallas Campus. Then they have the opportunity to learn more about Gaston College at the Open House immediately following the Run/Walk. Proceeds from this event support the Gaston College Foundation Fund, which assists students on their educational journey.
2nd Annual Rhino Classic
The 2nd Annual Rhino Classic invites participants to enjoy a wonderful day of golf at Verdict Ridge Golf and Country Club. Proceeds from this event support the Gaston College Athletic Fund, which gives our student-athletes the financial support to play hard and attain a quality education.
