About the Tour: Where History Blooms Into Life
For a century, the Historic Boston-Edison Association has stood as a testament to enduring elegance — a community where grand architecture meets genuine community. This year, as we mark our 100th anniversary, we celebrate not just with stories and photographs, but with something living: the gardens that quietly thrive behind these storied homes.
The 2026 Garden Tour is a self-guided stroll through six of the district's most extraordinary private gardens, each reflecting the personality and passion of the family who tends it. From formal English-inspired parterres to lush cottage gardens bursting with native wildflowers, no two stops are alike — and every one carries the unmistakable spirit of Boston-Edison: proud, warm, and rooted.
