Elf Run Rules
- Be safe: Run on sidewalks when available, especially on busier roads. Stop at intersections and stop lights, and only cross at crosswalks and/or when you have the right of way. Look both ways for traffic.
- Be considerate: Respect other runners, pedestrians and car traffice. Don't run more than two abreast, especially in busy areas. Give way to other pedestrians and warn other runners of hazards.
- Stick together: Faster runners should stop and wait periodically so others can catch up. Don't leave anyone behind.
- Be joyful and friendly: Greet people including pedestrians and passing vehicles with a wave.
- Follow the route: Stick to the designated route. Let someone know if you plan to abandon the route at any point.
