Please arrive at 20 minutes before your scheduled tour time. This will allow time for parking and check-in before leaving on a bus at your scheduled time.

The tour starts and ends at Sacred Heart Seminary (2701 Chicago Blvd, Detroit MI 48206). The parking lot can be accessed from Linwood on the east side of the Seminary.

The tour will include riding the bus, walking outside the homes and through the homes. We encourage festive, comfortable dress that accounts for the weather. Please no stilettos in the homes. Please also keep in mind all purses and accessories will need to stay with you at all times.

Walking is only needed from the bus to and inside homes however historic sidewalks and stairs may be uneven, steep, and without handrails. We encourage all guests to use caution while on tour.

No, smoking is not permitted while on the tour.

No, food and drinks are not permitted inside the homes. However, we encourage you to join us for complimentary coffee and treats inside the Seminary from 9 to 5. 

While the exterior of homes are accessible, photography is only permitted inside of the homes with homeowner approval.

No, please reference your ticket for a scheduled time. Buses leave every 20 minutes.
