Honoring Our Heroes: WWII MIA Memorial and Fundraiser with Project Recover

Sun May 5, 2024 Clifton ISD Performing Arts Center
Clifton, TX 76634 US

Information

Organized by Gaye Lynn Seawright, a member of a Gold Star MIA family along with her English I Honor students, this memorial and fundraiser will bring together several communities to honor Bosque County MIAs Robert Herman Walsleben, Roland L Zander, and John Fletcher Coston, who gave all in service to our country and have yet to return home.

With support from the local Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) and American Legion organizations, the Bosque County Sheriff's Department, and first responders along with members of the current U.S. military and distinguished elected officials, this gathering will be an event to be remembered!

A screening of the full-length feature documentary, "To What Remains," based on the work of Project Recover, the stories of MIA families and highlighted by recognition of the families of our local MIAs from Bosque County, this memorial and fundraiser will be a moving tribute honoring our country's heroes and the efforts of Project Recover to bring them home.
