Help Her Be Unstoppable

The She Leads, She Learns Empower Her Summit presented by CIBC and produced by Junior Achievement of Western PA (JA) is designed to be an interactive, impactful leadership and life development workshop for high school-aged girls from across western PA and northern WV.

The goal of the event is to empower, inspire and motivate young girls by connecting them to a community of women executives from a variety of industries, corporations, and walks of life.

Event Timeline: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM 

Our Key Focuses:

• Developing self-confidence and mental resiliency
• Understanding financial concepts and establishing financial well-being at an early age
• Providing the opportunity to interact with real professionals for skill-building and exploring career paths

Event Highlights:

Participants will: 

• Receive hands-on interactions with businesswomen from regional companies during breakout sessions
  • Some of the topics include:
    • How to sell yourself
    • Identifying your values
    • Investing in your financial future
    • Tips and tricks for job interviews
    • Networking with a purpose on social media
    • Owning your own business and what it takes to be successful
       
• Hear from local female business executives and business owners during interactive panel sessions
  • Topics of the panels include:
    • Breaking the Barriers of Women in the Workplace
    • Owning Your Voice

For the Parents:

One parent/guardian per child will be allowed to accompany at the Summit free of cost. An on-site parent lounge and list of activities around the area will be provided.
