Join us for a winter trail run and Winter Trail Fest East course preview run at Island Lake!  Trivium Racing, Running Lab, Runnin' Gear, Unofficial Run Club, and Black Men Run TURF (Trail & Ultra Running Fanatics) are hosting and all are welcome.  We'll run the WTF East 5 Mile loop and have an option to run it twice.

New to winter trail running or trail running in general?  Come get your feet wet (not literally)!  We'll do a mobility warm-up and we'll have Korkers demo spikes available to try out if the trail is icy.  Come enjoy some miles, check out the WTF East course ahead of race day, and get more comfortable on gorgeous Michigan winter trails.  We'll enjoy hot chocolate after the run!

We'll meet at the parking lot by the beach. Here's the link directly to the location on Google Maps.  If you navigate to address below, after passing through the entrance station you'll follow Kent Lake Beach Road until you get to the first parking lot on your left.  Don't forget this is a State Park, so you have to have the Recreation Passport.

No aid stations will be available on the preview run. It is up to each participant to pack enough hydration & nutrition to complete the distance they choose.

The preview run will not be marked. The participant is responsible for reviewing the Strava maps and/or downloading the GPX files to their watch to understand the course they want to run.
