Kendall County Women's Shelter will be rounding out our 10th year with a bang at our 2nd annual Golf Classic. The 4 -person peoria format golf tournament will be held at Fair Oaks Country Club on October 31, 2022. 

 Attendees will enjoy a day of golf beginning in the morning with breakfast tacos, bloody marys and mimosas with a 9:00am shotgun start. It will end with light hors d'oeuvres and a brief awards ceremony in the beautiful Texas hill country. Guests have an opportunity to participate in various games through out the course ranging from longest drive, closest to the pin, and even an opportunity to win fun raffle prizes! All proceeds will directly benefit KCWS.

 Bexar County has been listed as the fourth deadliest county in Texas when it comes to domestic violence in 2020. It is rare to turn on any news station and not hear about the effects domestic violence has on our communities. As our neighboring county, this fact directly impacts the need for shelter and services that we provide at KCWS. Services that we offer are crisis intervention, emergency shelter, case management, legal advocacy, food and nutrition, child advocacy, group and individual counseling, life skills training, and more. 

 Support from our community allows KCWS to continue the life-saving services and support that we provide to survivors daily.
