Join us for our 15th Annual Kalikie Classic Presented by Double Wood Farm to benefit the Stroke Comeback Center on Wednesday, September 20 at 9:00 am.  Plan to arrive around 8:00 am to get checked in and enjoy grab-and-go breakfast wraps and coffee.

Come out and enjoy a great day playing golf.  Registration and sponsorship opportunities are now available.  We are honored to host our exciting event at Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club in Leesburg, VA again this year.  Raspberry Falls is doing everything it can to make it a safe day for all participants and promises to be a superb, fun day.

We are elated for our 15th Kalikie Classic Tourney! It seems a blip looking back of how far I have come but it has been a wild ride with ups and downs.  A huge part of my recovery is due to the devotion of the Stroke Comeback Center, where I continue taking classes and volunteer. I remember the early days trying to formulate a sentence and now I am back to my old me--a bit more quirky and still strutting with my cane but I am happy as ever. I love seeing long-time friends and new faces and helping in any way I can. Sometimes you just need encouragement or a compliment for a job well done and that is why I strive to help stroke survivors know that there is a life beyond their stroke and they will thrive, if they keep at it!

All of this is because of the dedication of the Stroke Comeback Center in Vienna, VA and in Rockville, MD. The Center has groups and an environment where you feel at ease. As in years past, all proceeds from the Kalikie Classic will benefit the Stroke Comeback Center. We continue to raise money to support our mission of never turning any stroke survivor away due to the inability to pay.

We will have a great day of golf at Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club in Leesburg, VA. Please plan to arrive early to check-in. We will tee off promptly at 9:00 am. The event will include a 4-person shotgun start, grab-and-go breakfast sandwiches, drinks and snacks around the course, a catered lunch, and an awards reception following the golf. If you would like to practice your swing they have a range, so you can do so before you tee off.

In case of inclement weather and Raspberry Falls closes the course, we have set a Rain Date for October 18, 2023.  Let's keep our fingers crossed for no rain!
