Event Description
The Lehigh Valley Mental Health Awareness Walk and Resource Expo is an annual event held in May to promote Mental Health Awareness month. The goal of this event is to raise awareness, provide easy access to community resources and work towards reducing and eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness.
The day will include:
- 1.2 mile awareness walk through downtown Bethlehem
- Guest speakers
- Resource Expo with over 60 local businesses and human service agencies
- FREE family friendly activities and games
- FREE give-a-aways and raffles
Event Details:
- Inclement Weather
- This is a rain or shine event. Please dress appropriately.
- All vendors and entertainment will be set up under large event tents
- Parking
- There is meter parking located at the Wooden Match Restaurant and street parking around the event.
- Please read and obey all parking signage as this event does not have reserved/assigned parking.
- The LVMHAC is not responsible for any traffic/parking violations
- Vendors
- Check-in is from 8am-8:45am
- All vendors must check-in in order to receive their vendor packets and table assignments.
- Tables and chairs will be provided.
- There is no designated loading/unloading area.
- Sales of any kind are not permitted, unless approved by the LVMHA committee. Please note that any vendor caught selling merchandise or services may be asked to leave.
- Walkers & Day of Registrations
- Check-in is from 9am-10am.
- All attendees must check-in
- Day of registrations are not guaranteed give-a-ways
