Time
The 2026 Lake Cumberland Air Show takes flight with gates opening at 10AM. The flying display begins formally at 12:30PM and continues through 3PM.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 - Free parking lots have been established for the air show. Shuttles will bring you to the air show gates. Handicap and motorcycle parking is located at the terminal building entrance. See lakecumberlandairshow.com/parking for details.

Where is the air show?
The Lake Cumberland Air Show takes place at the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport in Somerset, KY, located at:
500 W. O. Newell Dr, Somerset, KY 42503
Do I need a ticket?
Yes, general admission tickets can be purchased HERE.
Kids 6 & under are free!
Where do I park?
Free air show parking is located at the American Standard Fiat Parking Lot at:
706 KY-3057, Somerset, KY 42501
A shuttle bus will take you to the airport/air show grounds. If this lot is full, additional overflow lots will be opened. Please visit our Parking page for more details.
Where is handicap or motorcycle parking?
Handicap and motorcycle parking is located near the main terminal building and is very close to the event.
Please notify a traffic volunteer or law enforcement officer upon arrival and provide proper credentials.
Spaces are first come, first served.
What if it rains? Is there a rain date?
The air show will go on rain or shine. However, severe weather or low clouds may hinder flying activities. Due to the complicated nature of hosting an air show, there is no rain date.
Can I bring blankets and chairs?
Yes! BYO blankets and folding chairs are welcomed and encouraged.
What time do gates open?
Gates open at approximately 10:00 AM.
Where can I find an air show schedule?
For security reasons, we are unable to provide individual performer start times. All acts are subject to change with little to no notice.
The air show will begin at approximately 12:30 PM and last about two hours.
