A Temporary Flight Restriction will be put into place for the air show. Drones will not be allowed anywhere in or near the event or within 5 nautical miles of the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport (KSME), as regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The Lake Cumberland Air Show is an intimate event and takes place on-site at the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport.

Due to requirements to maintain the integrity of the sterile safety areas as required by the Federal Aviation Administration, it is not likely you will be able to view the show from anywhere except on-site.

Yes, but please be aware of the NOTAM and published TFR for the closure of the airport during the formal flying display.

The airport will be closed to fly-in traffic approximately one hour prior to the start of the show and will reopen at the conclusion.

Transient/visitor aircraft parking is located on the west end of the parallel taxiway, where you will then be escorted to the show grounds to enjoy the event.

Please note that transient parking space is limited and comes via a first-come, first-served basis.
