Event Description

Carriage rides are one of our most beloved activities during our Vintage Holidays season! Passengers are invited to sit back and take in the nostalgia of our historic downtown, as the clattering of horse hooves lead the way.

Ride Dates:

Nov. 21, 22, 27, 28, 29

Dec. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20

Reservations are $15 per seat (Children 5 years old and under ride free on an adult’s lap).

When purchasing your tickets online, you will be prompted to sign your waiver at that time. Visitors who purchase tickets on-site, will be provided a paper copy of the waiver. A waiver must be signed prior to your ride.

Carriage rides depart from 430 Robert Parker Coffin Road, Long Grove, IL.

All guests should check in at the Holiday Check-In Hut next to the horses before their scheduled ride.

We highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to guarantee your spot.

The first carriage ride departs at 11:00 AM, and the last ride of the day departs at 4:45 PM. Check calendar for availability as time slots fill up quickly.

Absolutely! Private carriage rides are available for families, groups, and special occasions. To inquire about scheduling a private ride, please email events@longgrove.org.

Yes! Parking is complimentary in Long Grove. Visitors can park in either the Stemple Parking Lot or the Archer Parking Lot.

We do our best to stay on schedule; however, departure times may occasionally vary. The comfort, care, and well-being of our horses always come first.

Carriage rides are weather permitting. If weather conditions affect ride operations, updates will be shared through Long Grove's event communication channels.

Absolutely! Make a day of it in Historic Downtown Long Grove. Enjoy our unique shops, restaurants, holiday decorations, and festive atmosphere before or after your carriage ride.

No problem! If you need to change your scheduled ride date or time, you can easily manage your reservation yourself. Simply locate your ticket confirmation email and click the "Manage My Tickets" button. From there, you can make changes to your reservation based on available dates and times.

Please keep in mind that time slots can fill up, especially during popular ride times. While we do our best to accommodate schedule changes, alternate dates and times are subject to availability. We recommend making any changes as early as possible!
