Tallulah Native Returns for Book Signing
Tammi Arender, grew up in Tallulah, Louisiana and has gone from reporter, to anchor, to host, to actress, and now published author, of Dishes and Devotions.
Tammi Arender is an anchor and reporter and Host of “Stories That Matter”. Her weekly segments air on KTVE/Fox 14 and www.myarkalamiss.com. She’s also a contributor to RFD-TV, the agriculture network. RFD reaches 42 million homes on Dish, DirectTV and AT&T. She is currently based in Monroe, La.
Tammi is also an on-air personality at 88.7 FM the Cross, the Christian radio station reaching all of northeast Louisiana. She is on each weekday from 6:00-9:00a and from 6:00p-7:00p.
Tammi was raised on a cotton/soybean farm in Tallulah, Louisiana. She started her TV and radio career in Monroe, Louisiana at KNOE TV. She has been a reporter and anchor for affiliates in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Little Rock, Arkansas, Charleston, West Virginia and Nashville, Tennessee.
While working in Nashville, Tammi also contributed to national shows such as Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, The Nashville Network, Good Morning America, and CBS This Morning.
You may have also seen Tammi on the big screen. Since being asked to be a reporter in the movie remake of one of her favorite childhood shows, Dukes of Hazard, Tammi has gone on to do 14 other films such as The Nice Guys, Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2, Pitch Perfect 2, Beautifully Broken, Enemies Among Us, Flag of My Father, Alabama Moon and Private Valentine: Blonde and Dangerous.
Tammi is an accomplished baker. She has been on national cooking competitions on The Food Network, including Bakers vs Fakers, Christmas Cookie Challenge, and the TNT show On the Menu. Celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse said her white chocolate cheesecake with Praline Sauce was one of the best cheesecakes he’s ever had.
Other hobbies include riding Harleys and horses. She’s a member of First Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana and loves Jesus with all of her heart! Her cookbook, “Dishes and Devotions: Make Every Day Delicious” is set for release on November 21, 2025.
Tammi has been a supporter of the Southern Heritage Air Foundation and programs for many years, and now she is joining us, just in time for Christmas, to share her cookbook, and stories of faith.
