Information
Date and Time: Saturday, February 10th / 6pm-8pm
Bart Kotarba of the Northwoods Wildlife Center will be leading a fun and fascinating discussion all about owls and birds of prey! He'll be bringing a fan favorite feathered friend with him, Tommi Hawk, who is a resident wildlife ambassador. She will help showcase some of the distinguishing features of all birds of prey and how owls differ from hawks.
Afterwards, we’ll head outdoors for a guided hike on our trail system to try and hoot for our resident owls. We'll learn all the different calls and see if we can get any owls to call back.
A fun kids craft will be available in the chalet. Enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies!
Please dress for the weather. Snowshoes are not required for the hike.
