2024 Founders Award Recipient - Bill Mirabito
The Springbrook Foundation is delighted to present the 2024 Founders Award to Bill Mirabito. We present this award to Bill in recognition of his historic commitment to Springbrook’s mission, from our early beginnings as the Upstate Baptist Home for Children to the present day. His participation throughout Springbrook has been essential to organizational decision-making, and we value his input in planning a legacy beyond our lifetime.
Thanks to his dedication and vision, the Coming Home Campaign and the Family Engagement Center became a reality. From 2009 to its successful conclusion in 2012, Bill led the charge in transforming the Main Campus with new facilities like the gymnasium, which now proudly hosts the annual Special Olympics Basketball Invitational. In addition to his leadership, he has also dedicated his valuable time to refereeing games, ensuring a fair and enjoyable time for everyone. His commitment extended to securing new uniforms for the Springbrook Scorpions, further elevating their team spirit and pride. The time and gifts he has generously presented to Springbrook have resonated with employees and the people who choose Springbrook services. Bill's support has been essential in creating ever-lasting memories for the individuals and families we work alongside.
