Assistance Dogs of the West
ADW builds successful working partnerships between clients and dogs that empower people and open doors to new opportunities. Our mission unites individuals and teams in utilizing the power of the human-animal bond to create greater hope, resiliency and purposefulness across a far-reaching spectrum of services and geographies.
Event Description
Join us for a tail-wagging good time at the Mutt Strut! Bring your furry friends and enjoy a 5K fun run/walk with your dog, where participants and their pups can get moving for a good cause. Afterward, show off your pet’s creativity in our fun pet costume contest, with prizes awaiting the most paw-some outfits!
Assistance Dogs of the West will have different stations set up around the Upper & Lower Plazas where you can work on skills with your dog. They will have a toothbrushing station, a clicker training station, a station where you can customize a tote bag with your dog's nose & paw prints ($), and more! Stray Hearts will also be hosting a pet adoption event!
With live music and lots dog-friendly activities it's sure to be a great dog day of summer!
