Event Description
Fall Fun at Osborn Farm!
🗓️ Date: October 25, Saturday
📍 Location: Osborn Farm 1230 S. Boise Ave Loveland, CO 80537
🕚 Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📔 Event Description:
Join us for an afternoon of fall fun-hay rides, petting cute animals, and social connection at Osborn Farm in Loveland! We’ll have optional nametags to make socializing easier and an optional connection activity for anyone who wants a conversation starter. This is an outdoor event, so dress according to the weather and bring along sunglasses or any sensory supports that might help you to feel more comfortable (water, ear protection, etc.) Osborn Farm recommends some additional items for those who want to pick larger pumpkins:
-Closed-toe shoes (sneakers are fine, pumpkins have prickles when attached to the vine)
-Garden clippers or small garden shears
-Garden gloves (for the lucky person who lifts your pumpkin prize from the field)
-BYOW (Bring your own wagon). We have wheel-barrows but they go fast, it’s part of our charm!
-Bug spray
-Cloth for wiping your hands and pumpkins
Osborn Farm is the oldest continuously occupied farm in Colorado, family-owned since 1861. They offer pick-your-own pumpkins in October and Christmas Trees in December. For more information, check out their website, https://www.osbornfarm.com/
💵 Cost: $10 per person (includes 1 hayride, admission to the petting zoo, and one small gourd or mini pumpkin). Additional Items such as larger pumpkins, honey, and mums are available for purchase separately.
You're welcome to bring guests! Please register and purchase a ticket for each guest who will be participating.

About Our Adult Autistic Social Meetups
Our events are designed to foster connection, reduce isolation, and build community in a low-pressure environment where autistic people can be themselves.
These gatherings are casual and lightly structured, offering independence and flexibility. Facilitators are available with optional conversation prompts, icebreakers, or guidance during activities. Participants are always free to choose their level of engagement—join in, observe, or simply enjoy the space in their own way.
We focus on:
Predictability: Clear details about what to expect.
Flexibility: No pressure to talk, stay the entire time, or do specific activities.
Sensory Awareness: Locations with lower sensory load, quiet breaks, and acceptance of stimming or sensory tools.
Consent & Boundaries: No expectation to mask or perform.
Supportive Spaces: You can bring a trusted support person.
Interest-Based Activities: Museums, cafés, nature walks, accessible and enriching outings.
You can use your HCBS waivers to cover the cost. If cost is a barrier, email groups@autismcolorado.org for assistance.
