Supporting the growth of inclusive outdoor aquatic recreation and fitness for those with spinal cord injuries or movement challenges in New Jersey. 

Join us for the first ever Blue Journey Unified Community Open House and Paddle in Ocean County - A community building experience around inclusive outdoor aquatic recreation and sport. This event celebrates the benefits of shared outdoor experiences and empowers those with physical and movement challenges to explore recreation and sport in our natural waters alongside other members of the community, family, friends, caregivers, ocean lifeguards and Ocean County Parks & Recreation staff.

Never paddled before? This is the perfect time to put your hands in the water. There will be multiple sizes and styles of both paddleboards and kayaks depending our your ability and experience. Regardless of your level of skill or physical abilities we would love to have you join us in the water or on land. 

The Ocean Positive Foundation and Ocean County Parks & Recreation are coming together to help everyone find their connection to the oceans and waters we love while building friendships and strengthening communities along the journey. We can only do all of that with our amazing community of athletes, volunteers, coaches and partners...like you.
