Event Description
Join us for an exciting showcase of the next generation of bluegrass talent! The Ozark Mountain Music Association’s Youth in Bluegrass Contest (formerly the KSMU Contest at Silver Dollar City) features outstanding young musicians competing for $7,500 in prizes , college scholarships and recognition while preserving the rich traditions of bluegrass music.
Enjoy high-energy performances from bands all over the country with their tight harmonies, and impressive instrumental skills in a family-friendly atmosphere. Come cheer on these rising stars and be part of supporting the future of bluegrass!Â
The first round of the contest is from 10:00 until 12:30 and the second round is from 3:00 to 5:30, prizes awarded directly after the contest.
