Why "A Better You"?
A Better You: Finding Balance in Parenting Through Well-Being is built on the belief that when parents and caregivers prioritize their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, the entire family benefits. In the midst of busy schedules, competing responsibilities, and the daily demands of raising children, it can be easy for self-care and personal wellness to take a back seat. Parent Camp is designed to encourage, support, and empower parents to invest in themselves while gaining practical tools to navigate family life with greater balance and confidence.
Hosted by the Northville Educational Foundation, Parent Camp is a thoughtfully designed morning that brings together expert voices, meaningful conversations, and trusted local resources, all in one welcoming space.
Open to families and caregivers of all experience levels and stages, the event features TED Talk-style speakers, engaging breakout sessions, and a Wellness Fair showcasing organizations and professionals dedicated to supporting the well-being of parents and families. Attendees will leave feeling inspired, connected, and equipped with strategies to help them thrive both as individuals and as parents.
