Our Keynote Speaker for 2026
Jimmy Choi was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease at the age of 27. Since then, Jimmy has participated in multiple clinical trials to further research for better treatments and hopefully a cure for PD. He joined Team Fox in 2012, and ran in his first marathon that year -- and he hasn't stopped since. In July 2017, he took on a new challenge and competed on NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” to show the world that Parkinson’s will not stop him.

Event Description
Please join us for our PARKINSON'S FALL SUPPORT SOCIAL! Every year we take September to join our community and other small town support groups and come together to offer socialization, support and encouragement throughout this Parkinson's journey.
This year we welcome an inspiring keynote speaker, through our PARKINSON'S EMPOWERMENT SPEAKER SERIES, as Jimmy Choi shares his personal journey living with Parkinson’s disease, offering a powerful perspective on resilience, adaptation, and hope. Through candid storytelling and insight, he will shed light on the challenges of the condition while highlighting advances in awareness, community support, and the strength found in facing it head-on.
