Harmony Through Design

Join Placer RCD and your neighbors for an Introduction to Permaculture and Natural Gardening Workshop. Learn to create harmonious, regenerative habitats in your backyard. Perfect for any space, big or small!

What is Permaculture?
In short, permaculture is an approach to gardening and agriculture that integrates principles of a more sustainable design that mimics natural ecosystems. This approach can help create harmonious and regenerative human habitats.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn the principles of permaculture design to create more abundant and harmonious gardens
  • Walk away with the beginnings of a permaculture plan for your own space.
  • Learn new observation and reflection skills that connect you to the land and build resilience
Get outside to practice what you've learned!

This workshop is hosted by the Placer Resource Conservation District and instructed by Certified Permaculture Designer Matthew Trumm of Treetop Permaculture.
